Stuffcool Deb in-Ear Earphones: Price & Availability
Stuffcool Deb comes in a compact box that has a lot of details imprinted on it. It displays all the features at the backside along with the applications. As you open the box, the earphones are kept in a plastic casing along with 2 pairs of extra earbuds in a small pouch. There’s no user manual or warranty card inside the box.
Design and Build Quality
Stuffcool Deb comes in two colour combinations that are Red, Black and Black, Red. One of the most attractive things in these earphones was the metal modules present over the earbuds. The aluminium casing looks very premium and has a minimalistic triangle-shaped Stuffcool logo imprinted over it. The earbuds are made up of silicone and are quite soft. You don’t feel much pressure on your ears.
Earbuds are also angled into the ear that helps in improving passive or ambient noise cancellation as well as prevent these from falling down. We tried running with the earphones on and to our delight, Stuffcool Deb didn’t fall off once. The metal modules over the ear are a bit big due to large 9mm drivers due to which it would hurt a bit if you lie straight on the pillow wearing these. It’s better to keep your head straight while listening to songs, anyway.
The angled design, the metallic modules and soft TPE rubber coated cable, Stuffcool Deb looks minimalistic and you can say, premium in this range. The cable isn’t the thickest but looks sturdy and strong enough to last long on regular usage. I guess you shouldn’t use them very roughly because they aren’t braided of double protected. This is still one of the better cable qualities you would get in this range under 500. The cables also don’t tangle as per our experience due to the thick rubber coating.
There’s an in-line mic along with a multifunction button incorporated in this earphone. You can use the multi-function button to pick up or reject calls, turn on google assistant or other voice assistants, skip tracks etc. The mic module and button is made up of plastic and looks average.
The cable length on Stuffcool Deb is 1.2m which gives you an adequate length to listen to songs keeping your phone in the pocket. The length isn’t also extra-long that makes it difficult to carry, Stuffcool Deb has a very standard and adequate length cable. The 3.5mm 3-pole gold plated earphone jack is made up of metal and protrudes in-line with the earphones. The gold plated jack ensures a smooth connection between your device and Stuffcool Deb earphones. It looks sturdy and durable which is a good thing since a lot of times, jack gets damaged in case of roughly ejecting or over time. We would still recommend you to eject and plug the earphones softly.
Stuffcool Deb races past its competitors in the audio performance part. The volume output in Stuffcool was decently loud but what surprised us was sound didn’t shatter at all on higher volumes. The sound output was clear and well distributed and we were able to hear every beat distinctively.
The mids and highs were quite clear and the clarity of sound was only muddled at lows. The rock and pop lovers would definitely love the sound on these.
Coming to the bass part, EDM lovers can expect a decent performance here too. Stuffcool promises Ultra-Bass on these earphones and it does deliver a crisp bass, which is unusual in this range mainly due to big 9mm driver present in Stuffcool Deb. Obviously, the bass is not as punchy as in some of the more expensive Sony or JBL earphones but it is a decent offering in this price range. If you want a clear and loud sound output with a complimentary bass, these earphones will impress you. The voice calling with Stuffcool Deb’s mic was clear and there wasn’t any kind of distortion in good network areas. So you can use these earphones for hands-free calls with a Multi-function button that helps pick up or reject calls without taking out your phone. The earphones lack a volume control button which is a little drawback in an otherwise complete set of features in Stuffcool Deb. You would have to take out your phone to regulate volume on these.
Stuffcool Deb is a lightweight, stylish and attractive earphone in the low budget segment. Its performance is also powerful in the price range. The vocals are quite clear on this earphone and it offers decent bass. The presence of a mic makes this earphone a complete package. The cables look quite durable but rough usage is not recommended for increasing durability. The lows are a bit muddled and noise cancellation is about par on this earphone. There’s only one multifunction button and volume rockers are absent here. These little drawbacks though should he ignored looking at the introductory price of just Rs.500 for Stuffcool Deb. Moreover, it also comes with a 6-month warranty. If you want a good looking and decent performing earphones with a mic in this range, Stuffcool Deb is a great option.
